Meet Leigh
I received my degree from the University of Kentucky in Fashion Merchandising. After college I set out on my own to Atlanta to begin my fashion career. I have always had a passion for bold fabrics and prints and a sense of style that is simple and chic.
My aesthetic was shaped early on by the bold colors of Lilly Pulitzer, the florals of Laura Ashley, the sunshine of Palm Beach, and the unapologetic charm of The Preppy Handbook—which, according to my parents, explained a lot.
I’m a proud mom of three nearly-grown kids, each charting their own path—two practical, one wildly creative, all stitched into my needlepoint lifestyle. I also share my studio with two of my best friends, Ted and Iz, my two pugs who supervise all stitching operations.
I have been stitching for over 30 years and have never lost my passion. I have many needlepoint pieces that mean so much to me. Of course, the ones that mean the most to me are the ones my mother made, especially a handbag with her initials on the inside. My hope is to offer designs that become heirloom pieces for you and your family, stitched with love and cherished for generations.
